Clarification for everyone.

I asked ALL active teams to let the league know which team owners would be returning. A simple request and many owners complied, so I could formulate a plan going forward. If it was only ten teams, 2021 would have been the last year for the league, but there were fifteen owners, making the decision on adopting an opposite team league for present owners easy.

I asked everyone months in advance if they would like to take over the league, since I had the responsibility since 2009 and it was time to step down. NO ONE stepped forward, but now that decisions are made, complaints are seen.

Situations arise when individuals can solve problems themselves with a simple message. If they are still active, a message saying, sorry, this team isn't available eliminates all future discussions.

Tampa Bay are returning and they have posted their new lineup.

This is a rough guide to which teams are available. If they are taken, please make it known, removing any doubt. If other teams should be on the list, please make it known. Thanks.

The Nationals and Cardinals both logged in mid-September. Angels and Marlins were active last offseason from what I remember seeing.


It looks like Dave, Cubbies and Philly Bob can choose from Orioles, Red Sox and Angels.

Sorry, I have not been checking this page much, kind of figured the league was dead. I get the idea of everyone owning two teams, but not sure how well this is going to work or if I will plan to play much longer, but for the sake of the league, I will claim the Nationals and stay on for this coming year and see how the time commitment goes.

i like the fact that the league has been cut down to the most present owners. It is my hope that we will all be very active in the league. it may make it fun. I'm a little confused about owning two teams -- one in each league. Did we consider breaking the league into just 15 teams 1 team per person?

Also, would anyone be up for holding video conferences? The world is much different now and i think most of us know how to zoom. it may make it pretty interesting to hold league negotiations face to face. Maybe a winter meeting type of deal? a weekly meeting type of thing? Let's make gopherball great again.
