1 - please post the 2020 rosters of each team that is owned going into 2020. Many teams have already posted their rosters and it helps everyone know which players are owned and how much salary each team has to spend either through trades or free agency.
2 - if it hasn't been done, please name the players to be claimed from the 2019 RFA compensation. Teams can't make their choice until others choose first. A deadline of August 1st will apply in 2020, so teams aren't left waiting for compensation selections.
3 - please post franchise and RFA tags, so the spreadsheets can be updated to show which players are tagged.
4 - please post the players that are being dropped with expiring contracts, so they can be removed from the spreadsheets.
5 - It is going to take a league effort to fill the empty teams that seek new ownership and if someone is interested, have them claim the teams and post their 2020 rosters. It is better to know which teams are active, so teams can plan their trades and which players they can target.
Teams confirmed to need new owners are the following:
1 - Chicago White Sox 2 - Baltimore Orioles 3 - Miami Marlins 4 - Texas Rangers
6 - San Francisco Giants 7 - Milwaukee Brewers 8 - Detroit Tigers

Agree on all the points made above, thanks. Hopefully filling the open teams with active managers doesn't go too long.
I think also sometime in the next month or two we need to address or decide on any potential rule changes. I know one that was recently discussed and caused a bit of "bickering" was innings/at bat minimums for playoff rounds. The rule as it stands is the rule. If someone works it to their advantage so be it and good for that person. If we want to change the rule, then make the proposal and let's discuss/vote/decide whatever, I think that is one that could use a look. Guess I would prefer the focus to be changing or fighting over the rule, as opposed to how someone decides to play their team within the rules, obviously leads to bad feelings.
I know there are other proposed rules that come up every year (including the ole "pay league") and hopefully those have been updated or addressed. But there might be others.
Also, on a separate note, now that all tags are flex tags (I think I got that right) we might want to combine the two franchise/RFA tag threads to keep it clear on which teams are using what.

Aaron, blunt, NO, caps do NOT go up every year. There is NO increase in 2020. The next 5 Million increase is in 2021 and YOU should already know that, since you ask every single year and are told the same thing every single year. lol.
